Pilgrimage to Iona May 2-11 2019

An early summer trip from our parishes to a valued ancient pilgrimage site has become a regular feature of shared life in our Churches.  In 2019, following a successful and rewarding visit there in 2017, we plan to make a return visit to Iona.   This provides another  wonderful opportunity for members of all our churches to get to know each other and God better, on this small, beautiful, historic and prayerful island, off the larger Isle of Mull, in the Diocese of Argyll & The Isles.  This is where Columba (b.521AD) settled after leaving Ireland, and from here Aidan was sent to carry the Gospel through Scotland to Lindisfarne in 635AD.
