Baptism (Christening)
Baptism is the beginning of one’s Christian journey. Baptism also marks our identity as a Christian and is the event in which we welcome your child into the Church. If you live in the parish, we would love to be part of this important service.
Baptisms can take place during a service or at another time. We appreciate that getting all the family members together for an early service is not always possible because of the distance some need to travel. Ideally a baptism takes place in our main Sunday Eucharist services.
Do contact the Rev’d Nicola or churchwarden of the church where the baptism is to take place to arrange a date. The churchwarden will find a clergy person to take the service. There is no fee for a baptism.
