Nicola Grieves

Nicola was ordained Deacon in July 2022 and priest in 2023. As well as taking services throughout the benefice she also leads All Age family services and works in both Barrow and Risby primary schools with children leading Collective Worship and Open the Book. Nicola is a Foundation Governor at Risby CEVC school and heads up the team offering the weekly pre-school Praise and Play.

Nicola is also Safeguarding Officer for the benefice and works full time as the Children and Youth Development Officer for the United Reformed Church Eastern Synod. Before taking up her present post, Nicola was in full time children and family ministry at All Saints Church, Milton.

Annie Throssell

Annie is a member of the Benefice Ministry Team and serves the Benefice in numerous ways. She is a Lay Elder and takes a variety of services including All Age Services, school assemblies, Open the Book at Barrow CEVC Primary School, and Services of the Word. She also leads a regular Bible Study Group and is both PCC secretary and Church Warden at Risby.
