We are delighted to announce that Risby Church has been awarded the Gold Award for Eco Church! This is an amazing feat and is the result of months of sheer hard work and commitment by all the PCC who are fully supportive of this initiative, as well as our ‘Eco Warrior’ Jackie Orbell who has led the team tirelessly, but with immense passion and enthusiasm.
This is the 49th Gold Awarded Eco Church in England and Wales and the 33rd Church of England Church to be awarded. We are also the second Church to reach Gold in the Diocese of St. Edmundsbury & Ipswich!
