Are you confused by climate change labels used by organisations, government, marketing, and the media? Well, you no longer need to feel left out of the conversation. Over the next few weeks Eco Church will give meaning to the various terms. We begin with “environmental sustainability.”

Sustainability is one of the most important concepts when it comes to protecting the environment. If a resource is sustainable, it does not run out or cause harm. For example, energy using the sun or wind.
On the other hand, if something is unsustainable, it means it is using up resources faster than they are being replaced. Eventually the resources will run out, E.G., fuels such as oil or coal. Most environ-mental problems – from overfishing to air pollution – come from using natural resources unsustainably.

Our actions make a difference!
