I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who was part of my recent leaving service and celebration on 15th September and to all who contributed so generously towards my leaving gifts. Your kindness is overwhelming and the gifts I received totally unexpected. Thank you so much for the gorgeous purple chasuble and stole that I will wear this Advent, the olive tree that has a home waiting for it! The wine, the cards, the contributions, in fact everything. I am still at a loss to show my gratitude to you all.
It has been the most wonderful of times being here in the Barrow Benefice and I will miss you all more than words can say.
